Needs assessment – Newcomers with hepatitis C and/or HIV
june 18, 2015
We are currently conducting two needs assessment surveys identify gaps in accessing treatment, care and support services for:
- Pakistani newcomers living with hepatitis C and
- Ethiopian newcomers living with HIV.
The results of the needs assessments will be used to inform the development of knowledge exchange tools to support service providers and their clients. These tools are being developed under the CTAC’s project: Getting the Word Out & Strengthening Community: A Framework for Enabling Access to Treatment, Care and Support for People Living with HIV/AIDS and co-infected with Viral Hepatitis in Canada.
Who should complete these surveys?
Service providers with clients living with hepatitis C from the Pakistani community and/or service providers with clients living with HIV from the Ethiopian community.
How will the results be used?
These surveys are confidential, and the only identifying information collected is the type of organization you work for (e.g. community-based organization, community health centre), your location, and the size of your organization. CTAC will use the results of these needs assessment surveys, as well as feedback from clients (surveys and focus groups), to inform the development of Knowledge Exchange Tools for service providers and clients. If you would like us to contact you for a follow up interview, please provide us with your contact information at the end of the Survey.
The surveys take approximately 30 minutes each to complete.
