An HIV+ gay man, Patrick has served on the CTAC Board of Directors since April 2006 and is currently Treasurer. A chartered accountant, he worked for 10 years as a legislative auditor, conducting financial and operational audits of ministries and government enterprises. He also served as Executive Director of the AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Area. He has served on the Canadian AIDS Treatment Information Exchange Board of Directors since 1998, for two years as Treasurer and then as Chair, and is also a member of the Ontario HIV Treatment Network Cohort Study Governance Committee. He has previously volunteered at the Ontario AIDS Network, Fife House Foundation and the AIDS Committee of Toronto. In 2004 he was inducted into the Ontario AIDS Network Honour Roll in recognition of long-term commitment to the community-based HIV/AIDS movement.
