Canadian AIDS Treatment Information Exchange
CATIE is a national, not-for-profit charity committed
to improving the health and quality of life of all people living with
HIV/AIDS in Canada. We serve people living with HIV/AIDS and the people
and organizations that support them by providing accessible, accurate,
unbiased and timely treatment information. We work in partnership with
a network of other information providers to ensure that people have
access to the information they need, in the form they desire, to make
informed health care choices.
CATIE provides free HIV/AIDS treatment information
services and support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their
caregivers, to health care providers, to AIDS service organizations and
to the general public across Canada.
Canadian AIDS Society
Canadian AIDS Society (CAS) is a national coalition of
over 125 community-based AIDS organizations across Canada. We are
dedicated to strengthening the response to HIV/AIDS across all sectors
of society, and to enriching the lives of people and communities living
with HIV/AIDS.
We advocate on behalf of people and communities
affected by HIV/AIDS, facilitate the development of programs, services
and resources for our member groups, and provide a national framework
for community-based participation in Canada's response to AIDS.
The Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network
The Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network Inc. (CAAN) is a
non-profit coalition of individuals and organizations which provides
leadership, support, and advocacy for Aboriginal people living with and
affected by HIV/AIDS, regardless of where they reside.
The Canadian Hemophilia Society
The Canadian Hemophilia Society strives to improve the
health and quality of life for all people with inherited bleeding
disorders and to find a cure. The Canadian Hemophilia Society serves
people with inherited bleeding disorders. These bleeding disorders
include hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies
and platelet disorders.
The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network
The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network promotes the human
rights of people living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS, in Canada and
internationally, through research, legal and policy analysis,
education, and community mobilization. The Legal Network is Canada's
leading advocacy organization working on the legal and human rights.
Canadian Association for HIV Research

Since its founding in 1990, CAHR has been dedicated to
fostering collaboration among all researchers working in HIV research,
improving the quality of HIV research and advancing its cause. The
Association holds an annual multi-disciplinary scientific conference to
exchange information acquired in the ongoing search to understand,
control and prevent the spread of HIV infection and to improve the care
of people living with HIV/AIDS. Membership is open to anyone with an
interest in HIV/AIDS research.
The Canadian HIV Trials Network
The Canadian HIV Trials Network (CTN) is an innovative
partnership of clinical investigators, physicians, nurses, people
living with HIV/AIDS, pharmaceutical manufacturers and others that
facilitate HIV/AIDS clinical trials of the highest scientific and
ethical standards.
The Canadian HIV Trials Network is a partnership
committed to developing treatments, vaccines and a cure for HIV disease
and AIDS through the conduct of scientifically sound and ethical
clinical trials.
We are committed to the pursuits of scientific excellence and ethical integrity in all undertakings.
We are also dedicated to working in partnership with
the international and national pharmaceutical industry, people living
with HIV/AIDS, researchers and physicians.
Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research
CANFAR, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, is
a national charitable foundation whose goal is to raise awareness in
order to generate funds for research into all aspects of HIV infection
and AIDS.
