Terry Pigeon

HIV positive since 1983, Terry has been actively involved in the HIV movement since 1996.   He lives in Cowansville, Quebec.  His professional experience is in management with finance, human resource and negotiation skills.  His involvement in HIV has been at a number of levels:  He has extensive Board experience in all levels of HIV: ACCM (local); the Fondation Québecoise du Sida (regional); CATIE, CTAC, and Leading Together Championing  Committee (national). He currently sits on CATIE's board as treasurer.

His involvement with CTAC goes back about 10 years in various capacities.  He has been on CTAC’s board since 2011 and currently serves as Chair of the Board.   He believes that advocacy needs to play a more important role in HIV work and that CTAC can be a leader doing that.  The involvement of people living with HIV is crucial to CTAC's success and he is proud of CTAC's commitment to GIPA/MIPA and in ensuring that people living with HIV/AIDS play a more pivotal role in the HIV movement.
